HOA Meeting Notes

Date: 3/23/2017

Attendance: Bruce (president), Carla (social), Alex (Secretary), Helen (VP), Anne (treasurer)

Agenda:

  • Introductions for Anne's benefit.
  • Easter Egg hunt, No, Earth Day yes.
  • Earth Day (Carla). April 22, 10am.
    • Beautiful yard awards! As many children that show up...award to take home for their family, too.
    • Piñata event. In the park. Some kind of snack that's "Earthy".
    • Scavenger hunt. Wildlife hunt! Could put "Easter eggs" around the neighborhood, as one of the items to find.
  • Order of events: piñata, scavenger hunt, then yard beauty awards as the kids walk back home to their houses. (7:51pm) 2 zones upper, 2 zones lower. Volunteers/bigger kids for far away zones. Can't award yourself.
    • Helen has some extra pots. Carla has all the supplies.
    • Clean up entrance island.
    • Other ideas?
  • Treasurer's Report for 2017 (Anne)
    • 30 ppl who haven't paid.
    • We have deposited 4k. We have 6+k in the checking acct.
    • "Contact database" should answer the question of who lives at this residence,..
    • Bruce has several keys, if we need them.
    • Alex to ask Claudia, Raymundo, peaches, the vos for HOA dues.
  • "Anyone who wants to welcome Inga back into her home with a Christmas ornament." idea from Carla.
  • Peter Kafka's blue tarp
    • The people who are complaining are not selling, still need to talk to Peter about the tarp.
  • Suspicious person spotted (8:14pm)
    • Chris and Kathy asked this person, who replied "I'm taking my laundry to Overlake"
    • Called the police, but couldn't find the guy.
  • CCRs status
    • Pinged the lawyer, but have no news.
    • Still trying to get it filed.
    • Updating our data bases with new owners
      • Anne has provided us with some things to update.
      • Dayne new owners asked to join. Rob Evans. Listed 750k, Closed 900k.
    • City of Bellevue projects survey(8:21pm)
      • One project that affects us, beautify the retaining wall/flat section.
      • Anne asked for traffic control, was told it was out of scope, but informed it was part of phase 2.
      • The least known way to upgrade your neighborhood: dollar for dollar matching for small projects that involve our labor and Bellevue dollars "
      • Anne: spruce up the post boxes idea. Re-do the mailboxes roofing.
