The City of Bellevue has a comprehensive program in place that includes the annual inspection of all 100+ miles of shared property boundary between public forested open space and private/commercial landowners. During these inspections we perform tree risk inspections and document any potential tree diseases or other indications of tree decline that would pose a high risk to surrounding properties and associated structures. We initiate tree mitigation and/or removal as warranted based on these inspection results.
The last inspection for the 41.5 Open Space was performed on January 19, 2016 and we will be performing our next inspection here soon in January of 2017.
If you have any specific concerns that you would like us to look at sooner, please feel free to contact me directly and I would be more than happy to meet with you to take a look. Thank you. Rick Bailey Forest Management Program Supervisor 425-452-6031 ribailey@bellevuewa.gov
