Anne's Budget - discussion

  • We spent 9000, we took in 5000
  • Main expenditures were: $2500 picnic, $3000 got junk, $2000 on insurance
    • do we have the right coverage, are we over covered? State Farm
    • Alex to follow up on Directors Insurance
  • What do we want to budget for this year?
  • Mailbox was 1200, Bruce did file a claim. Our insurance went up because of this.
  • Next year we should only budget one Got Junk, 1400
  • Dickeys was 1500, the park was 1000
  • Next year we should budget for 1000 park, and 300 - 500 on the food. 1500$ budget between food and venue.
  • Tommy Phantom gardener, 500$
  • $15 a month on the light.
  • $200 a year for the Mail Clinic.
  • 190$ on Earth Day/ Easter egg hunt.
  • Curb painting. Should happen 2019.
  • pressure washing is done by city of Bellevue
  • $183 Dues mailing this past year.
  • 17 people who have not paid their dues. Anne to provide list of Lots the the HOA.
  • How much is the mailbox roof project? Don't have quotes yet from Bruce.
    • 180 sq ft.
    • Would like to explore synthetic cedar roofing vs real cedar.

Berry's Trees. He asking whether he can top his willow.

  • Now he wants to cut down the tree.
  • Our protocol is to generally approve unless there is something weird about it.

CCR status.

  • Our map was not good enough. Now we have a higher res version of the map.
  • We have a new digital map made this year, Sept this year.
  • That's what we needed for final recording. 75$ filing fee, and map.

  • Next meeting early Feb? To plan Easter / Earth Day and go over dues mailing.
  • Carla and Alex owe a move in packet to Alex and Ian.
  • Earthquake preparedness.
  • Discussion on the differences between upper and lower neighborhood, and knows their neighbors. Block watch, block watch captains.
  • Maybe the FaceBook page is a way to solicit block watch captains, as the page is quite active.
  • Check up on neighbors and a focal point on criminal activity. Bruce.
