Board duty descriptions with interested candidates Carla and Helen
Alex described Board duties in general with Carla and Helen. Carla is interested in the Social position. Helen is interested in the VP position. Carla and Helen described their own backgrounds and how it might relate to fulfilling these position's duties. Carla has been involved in organizing social activities at her church. Helen has a business degree and has worked in various high tech firms.

HOA annual meeting

• Alex has secured a room at the FISW school on 4211 W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE, from 7-9 PM on June 10th. Alex suggested that a contribution of $200 be made to the school.
• AI Sarah: is supplying the projector
• Alex will do the powerpoint presentation.
• If 41.5 website access is needed, a hotspot via cell phone will be used, as a wifi connection has not been established with FISW.
• AI Bruce: Email blast on this event ASAP
• AI Sue: Entrance sign notice ASAP

CCR feedback

• Add solar panels to CCR as approved roofing material (website submission)
• Add Martha Lindley's comments from email
• AI Alex: ask Michael about legality of certain clauses in CCR

Pressure Washing

• Scheduled to start on 5/29 and finish on 5/30
• Cost is $2400 (approximately)
• Refilling the 500 gallon tank may require access to a hydrant for refills, so Mr Pressure Wash will obtain a "hydrant meter" from the city of Bellevue

Garage sale, junk and electronics pickup

• As discussed at last meeting, dates will be:
  • Garage Sale: June 27th and 28th
    • AI Sue: Entrance sign notice after HOA meeting
    • AI Bruce: Sandwich boards for directing traffic
  • Got Junk Truck: schedule two trucks July 12th at 10am AI Alex: Schedule this
  • Electronics for 1Greenplanet: Alex's trailer near upper neighborhood Got Junk truck on same day and time. AI Alex: Move trailer and dump this at 1greenplanet

  General discussion

  • Annual Picnic
    • Purchasing a gas grill for the summer barbeque was discussed
    • Bruce did a quick online search for renting a gas grill and ran across Armadillo's ad for hiring them as a catering service at $12/adult and $4/child for groups of 50 or more and kids under 5 are free. They supply:
      • Pork Ribs
      • Beef Ribs
      • Chicken
      • Baked Beans
      • Potato Salad
      • Coleslaw
      • Corn Muffins
      • Plates, napkins and utensils and serve everything.
    • Entertainment:
      • Give balloon guy a break
      • Try another reptile guy
